Tonight there will be a presention by Ray Warren on the topic of the MSP430 Launchpad Develpment tool. This should be very interseting for anyone who ever thought about some PIC micro-programming. They say you can program almost anything. I am anxious to find out.

I have accepted an invitation on behalf of the club to participate with a LARC booth (or two) to promote Amateur Radio, assist with sign offs for Radio Merit Badge requirements, and demonstrate the different modes possible with Amateur Radio.

JOTA 2012 is scheduled for the third full weekend in October each year. We had a successful event in 2011
with Paul Patrick (KC0QE and his wife Nancy (AC0DC) spearheading the effort with two antennas erected and two
stations complete with TV monitors for easy viewing, inside the Clover Building. Planning is already under way
for a bigger and better event this coming year.
