The club repeater has been replaced with two new Kenwood units.
Thursday Night Net:
This repeater covers a wide area of Northern Colorado.

Our two meter repeater is on a frequency of 147.270 + MHz

This repeater has Autopatch (reserved for members)

The repeater has 100 Hz. CTCSS .

The transmitter always has the 100 Hz. present, to help in your rejection of intermod and interference.

At the present time, the receiver is carrier operated with no need for 100 Hz on your signal. The CTCSS is activated when there is interference on the input.

DC power is supplied by an Astron power supply and TWO large golf-cart batteries.

The six cavity duplexer and four bay antenna are by DB-Products.

The repeater has a CTCSS of 88.5 Hz which is always present on the transmitted signal, to help in your rejection of intermod and interference. The CTCSS is only activated when there is an interfering signal on the input.

Technical detail:

Our 70 cm. repeater is a Kenwood TKR-850, 40 watts. Similiar list of features as the 2m box.

The transmitter output of 40 watts is fed through a DB-Products six cavity duplexer into a Cushcraft AFM-44DA antenna.

This system is at the same location as our two meter repeater.
- The repeaters can be linked with TouchTone commands on the two meter repeater.
- LARC has net every Thursday evening at 8PM local time (Mountain Time Zone). Everyone is welcome to check in.
- Let it be known if you would like to be Net Control a time or two.
