THE WEATHER LOOKS GOOD......................THE HUNT IS ON! 

The Longmont Amateur Radio Club is hosting another Fox Hunt on Oct. 17, 2009.   All amateur radios operators are welcome to attend.  In fact, since we are only receiving, anyone can hunt for the fox.  This is a great family thing to do and kids usually enjoy it.  There is no sign up necessary, just show up and have some fun. 

 Everyone attending should meet at Roosevelt Park in the South side parking lot at 1445 hrs.   We will start the hunt from there.  This will be a 2 meter hunt.  You only need a 2 meter HT radio to participate.  Of course, you may use any directional finding equipment that you want.  If you do not have any equipment, come and participate with someone who does.   Be prepared and dress for the weather.
