Welcome to the Longmont Amateur Radio Club Website

Our club meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month, at 7 PM, in the Clover building at the Boulder County Fairgrounds. The address is 9595 Nelson Rd and is northeast of the intersection of Nelson and Hover Roads in Longmont. As you enter the Fairgrounds driving North from the South entrance off Nelson road, the Clover building is the building you will see directly in front of you. General Meeting - Wednesday May 16

This month we will present the summary results of the new repeater location testing. Then our main presentation will be on Fox Hunting.  In a Fox Hunt participants use radio direction finding techniques to locate one or more radio transmitters hidden within a search area.  The club is considering making this an ongoing social activity where you can make your own directional antenna and ‘hunt' for the hidden transmitter (possibly with prizes).  Come join the fun!
