ALL CLASSES ARE CURRENTLY ON HOLD DUE TO COVID

New Class starts XX, 2020, at 6:00 pm at the Niwot Fire Station. 

This class must have at least 10 students registered to be held!  Tell your ham friends!

This class runs for 8 weeks, and it includes live demos, hands-on activities, lectures, discussion, using test equipment, antenna activities, and getting on the air. The VE Exam is on June 27th, which is the day after this class ends. 

The current ARRL Amateur Extra Manual expires on June 30th — so if you have a current manual and/or want to upgrade with the current question pool, take this class to get your Extra License before the book & materials expire!  Our next Extra class won’t be until mid-2021!  This class is only taught once per year.

When you become a student in this class, you must  have a serious level of committment to studying and learning this material.  We teach you everything you need to pass this exam — but it requires a lot of studying & work on your part outside of class.  You cannot learn this material by just attending class without putting in the extra time on your own as well.
